Palestinian American Youth Civic Engagement (PAYCE) brings together Palestinian and American university students through a shared curriculum to inspire productive, effective, and positive civic engagement. (July 2017 – December 2018).

Students worked together to produce podcasts focusing on civic engagement among young-adult activists. These stories can be heard at their website, Paycestories.org or on iTunes.

This is a project originated by the Stevens Initiative. I was the on-site videographer and photographer for the 2-week long Des Moines-based PAYCE workshop in January of 2018. From then on, I produced this documentary which tells the stories of the students and the organizations involved.

This is a collaborative project with colleges and universities such as Al-Quds University, An-Najah University, Drake University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), University of Hartford, University of New Hampshire and Stevens Initiative along with the United States State Department.
